WHAT IS THE DENVER BID COUNCIL?

The Denver BID Council is a collaborative network of Business Improvement Districts throughout Denver, working together to strengthen our city's commercial areas and improve the quality of life for businesses, property owners, and residents.

The BID Council serves as a unified voice for Denver's diverse districts, sharing best practices, advocating for policy improvements, and creating stronger connections between BIDs and the City of Denver.

Supported by Downtown Colorado, Inc. (DCI), the Denver BID Council is committed to enhancing communication with City departments, improving the visibility of BIDs, and providing valuable tools to help all downtown districts thrive.

WHAT ARE BIDS?

Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) are special districts created by property owners and businesses within a defined area to enhance their commercial corridor or neighborhood. BIDs are funded through a special assessment on properties within the district's boundaries, allowing them to provide services and improvements beyond what the City typically offers.
